Voting for hard right politicians as a protest to how the “leftist elite” is treating you is like quitting a good job because your co-workers are snooty. You then choose to go to work for a boss who pays less, won’t give you a raise, and provides lousy benefits and the whole time you’re saying “Look at what they make me do.”
